DEVILS OF THE ALPINE - Field Monitoring Program
To continue with the development of the Field Monitoring Program we need to increase the number of Field Monitoring Cameras which will enable us to continue expanding the scope of the study area and in the long term purchase equipment such as Radio Tracking Devices to monitor released devils in the study area. We hope to be able to acheive these objectives through sponsorship, grants, donations and volunteers.
CAPTIVE BREEDING PROGRAM
Devils@Cradle now houses 16 individual devils as an "Insurance Population" against Devil Facial Tumour Disease, these breeding animals are a managed to maintain genetic diversity.
Donations also assist our Captive Breeding Program which contributes to the ongoing day to day husbandry requirements of our animals.
